building The Smugglers Room
A long time ago.....
The Smugglers Room began small and "simple", a control panel in a corner of our basement. But... we wanted something more!
Several years later... still a long time ago.... we decided that we wanted to create what would seem like a movie set, so we expanded!
It was good, it was very good... but as our skills grew and we desired something more interactive.
So... we embarked on another iteration of "The Smugglers Room Project." After test designing the Room in Sketch Up, now piece by piece, greeblie by greeblie, we're building it the way it was always envisioned. And along the way, you can join the journey with us!

MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU - 1-YEAR CELEBRATION PROJECT
In celebration of The Smugglers Room YouTube Anniversary, we went all out for this project! Using a mold of Han Solo's face in Carbonite, we wanted to create an out-of-this-galaxy way to play music... and... order your much needed items for your next wild and crazy project... Alexa add glue to my next Amazon order!
RE-GONK-ULOUS NIGHT LIGHT
Whats great about being a geek that builds things, gifts are always fun and unique. When it came to our nephew, he needed something cool, and functional. Based on the lovable Gonk Droid, we created this mini-version with functional lighting that he could set next to his bed and turn off and on as he pleases!
RAISING THE BAR ON CORNHOLE
Summer was around the corner and in preparation, we wanted to make some games for our back yard and BBQ's. So, we made a Sarlacc Pit inspired cornhole board that will swallow cornhole bags where they will find a new definition of pain and suffering as they are slowly digested over a thousand years . . . . or until its the next persons turn!
